Kindness Matters

As I reminisce over the various stories on kindness that have been shared with me and remember the way people’s faces have lit up when I have shown them kindness, I’m more resolute to never underestimate the power of one kind deed or word because it could literarily save a life.

In a busy and fast-paced world, it’s quite easy to be so preoccupied with the hustle and bustle of life that we miss plenty opportunities to make a positive difference in someone’s life. As Leo Buscaglia put it, “Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

One of the things that has continued to inspire me to be an advocate of kindness, are words penned down by different people, that have continued to resonate deep within me. I hope you find these quotes as inspirational as I do.

LOVE & KINDNESS

WHERE THERE IS A HUMAN BEING

Every day we have many choices to make in the way we treat other people. Kindness should be a way of life all year round, not just reserved for some special time of the year or when we feel in a good mood.

KINDNESS FEB6

If you have been fortunate to have kind deeds done to you remember to pay it forward and most importantly, give your children a gift that has great intrinsic value.

MIRRORING KINDNESS
